Elevation Advisors LLP (“Elevation”), a specialist healthcare real estate investment manager, is pleased to celebrate its sixth year of partnership with The Care Workers’ Charity (“CWC”). The CWC advances the financial, professional and mental wellbeing of social care workers by issuing financial grants, signposting to resources and campaigning for care workers and the wider sector.
Establishing a funding agreement with The CWC in early 2021, Elevation continues to support and share the vision of The CWC, who are meeting an ever-increasing demand for crisis support grants. Since 2009, The CWC has given over £6.8 million in grants to over 13,900 care workers in need.
The Elevation team has extended its backing by taking part in fundraising events including The CWC Annual Trek and most recently our Director of ESG and Portfolio Management completed The London Marathon, with a substantial amount raised. This September, a team from Elevation will be completing a night-time trek in London, as well as other events throughout the year.
Karolina Gerlich, Chief Executive Officer of The CWC, stated: “Elevation’s renewed support could not come at a more important time. With the cost-of-living crisis and fuel prices rising, it continues to place real pressure on care workers across the country. Demand for our services has never been greater, and partnerships like this are vital to helping us meet it. Elevation’s generosity allows us to reach more people and provide the meaningful support they so urgently need. This continued sponsorship speaks to a genuinely shared commitment to the wellbeing of care workers, and their support has already made a tangible difference to lives, one we know will only grow in the year ahead, so thank you for your continued support.”

“We have long supported The Care Workers’ Charity because we continue to be inspired by the positive impact they make on those working at the front line of social care. Their crisis grants offer essential lifelines to individuals facing unexpected or challenging financial pressures, and their commitment to championing the sector is truly admirable. As investors in social care, we recognise that care workers are vital to maintaining safety, ensuring robust infection control, and driving improvements in care quality. We are delighted to have this opportunity to give back to the communities we serve.” – Jacob Hurtley, Director of ESG and Portfolio Management

The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) has provided over £6.8 million in crisis grants since 2009. It offers mental well-being support to care workers, ensuring they receive assistance during challenging times. The CWC provides accredited Mental Health First Aid training to care workers and other staff and advocates for policy changes to improve lives and working conditions in the UK. We participate in government roundtables, academic forums, and policy discussions, sharing insights from our grant applicants’ experiences.
