Leased real estate

Leases are a common form of financing in the senior living and healthcare sector due to the relatively stable and predictable nature of the operational cashflows. Our lease platforms own senior living and healthcare real estate assets and provide long-term inflation resistant leases to best-in-class healthcare operators. These investments can be used by operators to finance existing buildings, large-scale refurbishments or new developments. We provide sale-and-leasebacks, acquisition leasebacks and forward funding.

Lending

Our debt-financing strategies provide flexible solutions to best-in-class healthcare real estate developers and operators across Europe.

We provide whole loans in excess of £20m to developers and operators with strong track-records in senior living and healthcare to fund business growth via developments and acquisitions.

We extend junior capital in the form of mezzanine debt or preferred equity to finance acquisitions or developments.

For investors in healthcare real estate, our lending strategy is an attractive way to access the senior living and healthcare market with a further separation from operational risk and strong downside protection.

Joint ventures
